Hammer Head A

So a buddy of mine wanted me to design a tattoo for him, and this is the first quick drawing I did for him. I did a couple of these "quickies", so expect to see some more the next couple of days. As with these I was just trying to get an idea of where he wanted to go with the tattoo design.

My "Alpha Beasts" entry for this week. P is for Predator... I don't think I need to send most people to a Wiki page or any thing, do I? I used to love the original movie as a kid, most of the sequals are all crap though. I've been throwing alot of paint around and being kinda sloppy with my pieces as of late, so I really tried to keep this one clean. Let me know what you think? The whole time I was doing this piece I kept thinking of Arnold's famous line from the film "You are one ugly mother f***er" :)

Un-used Ettin sketch

Another one of the un-used pencil sketches. This one was going to be my "E" Alpha beast... but it was another one that just didn't make the cut...
Sorry for all the crappy pencil sketches lately. I'm working on a few things and don't have much to show right now. Come back tomorrow and I promise to have a "finished" piece for ya, ok?

This is one of the many pencil sketches of the "Oni". I normally do a bunch of these quick pencil sketches that you've seen on the blog to get an idea of placement, sizing, etc.. I don't show a bunch of the ones that go in the trash but, I thought you might want a glance at one of those sketches that doesn't quite make the cut...
Although I do like this sketch and may revisit it sometime in the future.

I have to admit I really struggled with the letter E. I did three pieces and this one is the only one to not end up in the trash. Not one of my best pieces but I'm moving on... Hopefully the next letters will not be such a fight...

I had so much fun doing the Deadite piece the other day I decided to just draw up a zombie with kinda the same theme and style... Hope you dig it. Also on a side note, I never scanned this in the pencil stage...so your saved from seeing more of my crappy pencil sketches :)

My New year's resolution is to catch up on the Alpha beasts that I missed. I came into the project a little late (on week F) so I've decided to go back and complete the entire alphabet.
