My "Alpha Beasts" entry for this week. P is for Predator... I don't think I need to send most people to a Wiki page or any thing, do I? I used to love the original movie as a kid, most of the sequals are all crap though. I've been throwing alot of paint around and being kinda sloppy with my pieces as of late, so I really tried to keep this one clean. Let me know what you think? The whole time I was doing this piece I kept thinking of Arnold's famous line from the film "You are one ugly mother f***er" :)

So this is the final product for the MODOK sketch. As you can see I just took what I liked best from all the practices and put them into the final version. Also as a bonus for my blog visitors... WOW!!! I got this in the mail today from a friend and how could I not share it with you all? It's too awesome not to show off, huh? This is kinda a big deal for me since I have no computer skills, photoshop, etc. So this is the first time I have ever seen my art digitally colored before. He did such a fantastic job that I'm thinking about making some prints up. Thanks Donnie, you are the man!

So the client that hired me for the mythological god pieces was also curious how big of a piece she could order. Her son really likes Poseidon so she wanted a larger piece featuring Poseidon. We settled on an 11x17" since it's the largest paper I own, and this is the first of three rough pencil sketches used as options for the client. This is a huge piece and I wanted the client to have options for a piece this size and for the price. So this is option A...
These are roughs and no where near a final product, so don't judge these early sketches, ok :)
